Registering your MyRYA account

 
Having a MyRYA account matched to your RYA membership/reference number will enable you to access certain areas of the site which are restricted to groups such as members, qualification holders or representatives of clubs or training centres. To create your free account:

On the home page enter your email address and select the blue ‘Get Started’ button:

Select Next

Select ‘Membership or RYA reference number account matching:

In order to match your membership, instructor or accredited account please select the option below: Membership or RYA Ref number account matching, Club account matching, I just need to register
 
Enter your RYA reference number and date of birth (you should find your RYA number on your membership card or any instructor certification):

Enter RYA ref number and date of birth.  

You should then see your details on screen.
Complete any missing required fields (marked with a *)
Set your password
Choose if you wish to receive the InBrief newsletter
Agree to the terms and conditions
Tick the ‘I’m not a robot’ box
Select ‘Register’

Once your registration is complete you will be taken to MyRYA where you have options to update your personal details, change your password and sign up to receive newsletters etc.

There is section in MyRYA for Account Matching. If you have followed the above process successfully, you will not need to match your account – it has already been matched.

Please note that the website refreshes every 4 hours. So, if you don’t have access to the areas you require straight away, please try again later. If after 4 hours you still don’t have access to those areas please email training.support@rya.org.uk with specific details of what you are trying to access along, with any error messages and which email address you are using to sign in.

Can’t make this work?

If you see a message saying that your email address is already in use by another account:

If you are not aware of an existing account using that email address please email training.support@rya.org.uk with your RYA membership/reference number and the email address that you used when trying to register your account.

If you see a message saying that your RYA reference number is already matched to a different account:

This probably means you already have a MyRYA account using a different email address. If you don’t know the details of that account, please email training.support@rya.org.uk with your RYA membership/reference number and the email address that you used when trying to register your account.

Forgotten your password?

If you are already registered but are having trouble signing in, it may be that you need to get your password reset.

On the sign in page there is a 'Forgotten your password?' link. Click on this and enter your email address. If you have an account, instructions on how to reset your password will be emailed to you.

If this does not work, please contact us via this form for assistance, giving your RYA membership/reference number and the email address that you are using to sign in.
