We are looking for a Director of Sailing to work as part of our Outdoor Education team at Windermere School.
This key role involves managing and delivering our sailing programme, fostering a passion for sailing among pupils, and maintaining high standards of safety and instruction. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in sailing, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to outdoor education. Accountable To Head of Outdoor Education.
Essentials:
- Passion to develop a youth sail racing team
- RYA Race Coach level 2

- Ability to work four to five days a week, including Saturdays, with occasional Sundays. Variation to

For the remainder of the year, instructors will deliver shore-based activities working a 37-hour week as well as manage boat maintenance alongside engineering staff.

Although we currently only have a small team of 2 paid staff, we also have a team of 60 volunteers to help deliver our programmes.
