The RYA Dinghy Show, in associationwith Yachts & Yachting, was officially opened today (29 February) by showhosts, two-time Olympic gold medallist Sarah Ayton, rising Laser star SamWhaley and Olympian Annie Lush.
The triowho were also joined by a crowd of eager young visitors to mark the start ofthe 2020 show.Members of the BritishSailing Team, including the athletes who will be competing in the 2020 TokyoGames this summer, were also on hand to help declare the show open.
Thisweekend (29 February- 01 March), Alexandra Palace, London, has transformed intoa dinghy sailing paradise and the theme is ‘World of opportunity-see wheredinghy sailing can take you’
Sarah Aytoncommented: “We’re really excited to officially launch the 2020 show - the atmosphereis already fantastic! It always amazes me the range of boats here, all thethings you can buy. We’ve also got a whole line up of brilliant speakers sothis weekend, come and escape the rain and enjoy a day out here at the DinghyShow!”

If you haven’t already got your ticket, don’t worry both day (£16) and weekend (£24) tickets are available to buy on the door. The show is open from 10:00 - 18:00 on Saturday 29 February and 10:00 - 17:00 on Sunday 01 March.
