RYA connected - share, learn, grow

The annual RYA Connected Conferences are the chance for affiliates to come together in person, hear from their peers and guest speakers, share ideas and pick up practical advice to help their organisations and our sport to thrive.

Whether you’re currently leading in the organisation or governance of a club or class association, or potentially would like to be in the future, you can harness the power of our community to gain new insights and inspiration to take back to your club, class or setting.

In 2025, the conferences will focus on equipping you with tools and knowledge to support and develop the next generation of leaders in our sport. We’ll help you find ways to upskill a bigger and broader range of volunteers so that they feel empowered to contribute their energy and ideas.

The more people there are who are confident to step up and support your activities, the more sustainable and vibrant your organisation becomes.

RYA Cymru Wales’ Big Weekend will also be held 11-12 October 2025.

If you’re based in Scotland, RYA Scotland will be focussing on a series of online Connect Forum Calls beginning this September. These will cover a range of relevant topics for clubs and organisations in Scotland, including how to deal with abandoned boats, funding applications, and more!

RYA Scotland still recognises the value of coming together in person, and want to know what the community want to see moving forwards as the team plans for future gatherings. Let the development team know how you'd like to Connect with RYA Scotland as well as other clubs, organisations, and groups by emailing development@ryascotland.org.uk.
