Notice of AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the Royal Yachting Association will be held online at RYA House, Hamble at 11:00 on 21 November 2025 and will be broadcast below. 

Voting is being managed directly by UK Engage and eligible members should check their junk/spam folders if they haven't received voting information. 

Questions can be submitted by emailing agm@rya.org.uk. Please note voting and questions will close at 11:00 on Thursday 20 November 2025.

Agenda

  1. To approve the Minutes of the Annual General Meeting of 29 November 2024 (circulated with the spring 2025 issue of RYA Magazine).
  2. To receive the Report of the Board of Directors and Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025 (together with the report of the Independent Auditor).
  3. To elect the President for the ensuing year: HRH The Princess Royal, the retiring President, is eligible for re-election and has signified her willingness to continue to serve in office.
  4. To appoint the Auditor and to delegate to the Board of Directors authority to fix the remuneration of the Auditor.
  5. To elect two new Nominated Directors to the Board. Read more about the candidates.
  6. The meeting to note a new Independent Director appointed to the Board.
  7. Any other business.

Any matters raised under Agenda Item 7 cannot form part of the official business of the meeting and thus may not be proposed as formal motions. This item is included to afford members an opportunity for informal discussion.
