British Sailing Team Kiteboarding Coach - Expressions of Interest

The British Sailing Team is seeking a coach to support our kite programme and to work alongside other kite coaches across both our men and women squads as we prepare for the LA 2028 Olympic Games. The role will involve supporting training blocks and camps both in the UK and overseas along with specific race training blocks and regatta support. The role of the coach is to build relationships and experiences with sailors that enable them to fulfil their potential and perform well in any condition. This is achieved by working closely with existing coaching and performance support staff to develop high performance strategies, manage and deliver training sessions and performance plans, and coach during regattas.

This position is ideal for an experienced coach who is passionate about developing elite-level kite racers and helping drive success at international competitions. We are open to coaches who might not have a kiteboarding background, but would commit to quickly learning how to safely and effectively operate in the kite environment.

If you are interested then please express your interest via coachingapplication@rya.org.uk before the 09 May 2025. Please include information about your coaching experience, availability and suitability for the role.
