RYA Cymru Wales Board Vacancies

Who we are looking for:

As RYA Cymru Wales enters an exciting new phase, we are seeking five talented and committed individuals to join our Board and help drive the delivery of our strategy and long-term ambitions for boating and watersports across Wales.

We are recruiting:

  • Two Independent Directors who will bring external expertise, strategic insight and independent challenge.
  • Two Member Directors who will provide valuable perspectives from within the RYA Cymru Wales community.
  • One Company Secretary, who will play a key role in supporting the Board and ensuring excellence in governance, compliance and Board effectiveness.

In addition, one of the successful appointees will also serve as Chair of the Performance Sub Committee (PSC), providing leadership and oversight in this important area of Board responsibility.

Together, these appointments will strengthen the Board's capability, diversity of thought and governance, helping RYA Cymru Wales achieve its strategic objectives and create more opportunities for people across Wales to enjoy being on the water.
