Business Support – Pathway

RYA Scotland is seeking an individual to join our Business Support Team to provide administrative and operational support across the organisation, with a particular focus on our Performance Pathway programme and events. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the next generation of Scottish sailing talent while contributing to the effective delivery of our wider organisational activities.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a business support, administration or coordination role
- Is highly organised, accurate and able to manage competing priorities
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is confident using Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel and databases
- Is confident developing social media content across a variety of platforms
- Enjoys working with a wide range of people including staff, volunteers, parents, coaches and partners
- Experience working within sport, with volunteers, or alongside young people would be advantageous, as would knowledge of sailing or boating activities.
Location
RYA Scotland has adopted a flexible approach to our working practices. This role will be home based, in Scotland, with team working days and Pathway events at different venues across the country.
Remuneration and benefits
Salary: £24,000-25,500 pro-rata dependant on experience, for 28 hours per week.
Flexible working can be accommodated but Friday needs to be a core working day.
Benefits package includes 10% pension contribution and life insurance, free RYA Membership and associated preferential staff discounts.
Annual leave: 26 days pro-rata annual leave, plus public holidays.
