Join us for an evening with the RYA East team hosted by Robbie Bell at Thorpe Bay Yacht Club, to share valuable insights and take away practical tools to strengthen your activities for the future. 

Open to all RYA-affiliated clubs, classes and organisations, these free 2¼ -hour workshops will begin at 7pm with a short plenary session full of the latest updates. Next, attendees will explore one of the following topics before a group wrap up at the end of the session.  

Learning from Others: 
Explore case studies of RYA Affillates who've tried something new. Discuss lessons learned, success criteria and how they might apply in your organisation, leave with ideas and inspiration to shape your own club's development. 

Creating a Great Volunteer Culture: 
Telling the human story behind volunteer hours, getting the culture right and managing volunteers. 

There will be time to enjoy some informal networking for 60 minutes before the session as well as during a short break. Light refreshments will be available throughout the event, such as tea, coffee and biscuits.  

Do come along with more than one representative from your organisation, where possible, to make the most of the opportunities provided.
