Join us for an evening with the RYA North team hosted by Ben Hodgson at Staunton Harold Sailing Club to share valuable insights and take away practical tools to strengthen your activities for the future.

Open to all RYA-affiliated clubs, classes and organisations, these free 2.5 hour workshops will begin at 1900 with a short plenary session full of the latest updates. Next, attendees will explore one of the following topics before a group wrap up at the end of the session.

Protecting Our Blue Spaces - Environmentally Responsible Boating

Explore how clubs, centres and associations can take practical action to reduce their environmental impact and support healthier blue spaces. Through discussion, shared experiences and examples from across the boating community, you'll gain ideas, inspiration and resources to help turn environmental ambitions into practical action.

Navigating Safe Sport: Creating Positive Experiences for Everyone

Explore how we can create welcoming environments where everyone feels they belong, is valued and can have a positive experience. Through discussion and celebrating approaches that work, we'll share ideas and explore practical ways to create environments where people can thrive. We'll also consider challenges that can arise, such as managing shared changing facilities and individuals' needs. You'll leave with ideas and approaches that you can put into practice within your own setting.

Do come along with more than one representative from your organisation, where possible, to make the most of the opportunities provided.
