This course is classroom based over 2 days.

Prior experience in race officiating is an advantage, but it is not compulsory. This course will focus on Race Management for those who wish to expand their knowledge. You will need to be familiar with the Race Management Guide, as well as the Racing Rules of Sailing 2025-2028. This course covers all of the basic aspects of race management including Sailing Instructions, Notice of Race, starting & finishing.

There will be an online exam on the final day of the course, so access to a laptop or tablet will be required.
