The RYA East Junior & Youth Participation Forum brings together clubs, instructors, volunteers and those involved in junior and youth sailing across the East Region to share ideas, connect with others and help shape the future of participation.

The forum provides a space to:

• Connect and communicate through community communication streams, sharing ideas, opportunities, resources and useful information across the region.
• Support instructors and volunteers through dedicated instructor support days, sharing knowledge, experiences, best practice and practical resources.
• Stay up to date with upcoming junior and youth events, activities and opportunities across the East Region.
• Shape plans for 2027, working together to identify priorities, opportunities and initiatives that will support junior and youth participation.
• Raise topics and share ideas – members are encouraged to submit discussion topics, questions or suggestions ahead of each forum so that the agenda reflects the needs and interests of the community.

This is a collaborative forum, where everyone's experience and ideas are valued. Whether you are a club representative, instructor, volunteer or involved in supporting junior and youth participation, the forum is an opportunity to connect, contribute and help shape what's next for young people on the water.
