DEVELOPMENT & PARTICIPATION
RYA Census Insights for Northern Ireland are now available. Thank you to all our clubs who took part in this as it’s key for our planning and funding. The insights document can also be used fr your club planning and funding bids too. To discuss how you might use the insights document, get in touch!
There has been a lot of instructor training going on and still lots more to come. I’m already looking at the schedule for the Autumn. Exam pressure, event pressure, and other reasons have led to the cancellation of the proposed course at Easter. But I have confirmed that there will be a DI course in July – pre-entry dates available for booking. Also on the cards pre-summer is an advanced instructor endorsement (dinghy). Get in touch if that is of interest to you.

We have been looking into issues around the insurance of yachts – some providers have removed their offer. But other providers still exist.
Richard met with the members of the RYANI Youth forum to get their views on RYANI operations and the direction of the sport in NI. Their input will be used in putting together our new strategy!
