Green Blue

The Green Blue is the Royal Yachting Association’s environmental programme. Since its launch in 2005, it has been inspiring the recreational boating community to make more sustainable choices

Its mission is to inform, enable, and empower boaters to protect and enhance our waters for the benefit of people and nature. In 2025, The Green Blue proudly celebrated 20 years of promoting sustainability on the water.

As a boating community we enjoy getting out on the water and experiencing the beautiful environment around us. We therefore play an important role in helping to protect our marine and inland waters to safeguard the wildlife and habitats with which we share our boating environment.
