The Swale

Discover this hidden gem

Explore this quiet area between the Isle of Sheppey and the mainland, making sure you check the tides before you leave. We also recommend taking an anchor due to the strong tide. It also gives you ample opportunity to pause for a while and look at the amazing variety and number of birds that can be found on this stretch water

 (Reviewed July 2021)

It is well worth taking some binoculars and a bird book as there are so many birds along the way
