Discover the tranquillity of this beautiful lake
This, our first trail, is ideal for all sailors. Beginners can confine themselves to the top of the lake, whilst those with more experience can venture down to Howtown. Only the more experienced should venture to Glenridding as the wind can be much greater towards the south of the lake, even on the calmest of days. There is plenty to see and do for all ability levels and the possibility of camping at the start of the trail.
