Lake Windermere

Bustling water and beautiful scenery, there is plenty to look out for on these two trails

These two trails give you two very different flavours of one of England's most famous lakes. Whilst the north is full of activity and places to come ashore the south takes you to another world of peace and tranquility. With long summer days it is possible to attempt both trails in a day, alternatively take a coupe of days to soak up the atmosphere of these two very different experiences. There are lots of public pontoons on the northern trail to stop off at but beware of any maximum time limits that apply
