Aspire Autumn Updates: Creating adventure on the water

Whether you're an instructor, a club volunteer or someone looking to build confidence in delivering activities afloat, this autumn's Aspire Updates offer a valuable opportunity to develop your skills, share experiences and gain fresh inspiration.

As part of RYA Scotland's Aspire initiative, our three Aspire Community Partners will be hosting a series of Continued Professional Development (CPD) days across Scotland, all centred around a common theme: Creating Adventure on the Water.

Designed for instructors and anyone involved in leading, coaching or delivering activities afloat, these practical and engaging sessions will explore how we create memorable, high-quality experiences for participants of all ages and abilities.

Through a mixture of practical activities, discussion, reflection and shared learning, attendees will have the opportunity to examine different approaches to session delivery, safety, engagement and adventure. The updates are also a chance to connect with fellow instructors and activity leaders, exchanging ideas and best practice from across the sector.
