The Sailability Open Series 2026 is here in Northern Ireland from May to August, with events at Carrickfergus, Lough Erne, and Greencastle, welcoming sailors of all abilities to the water. Whether you've never set foot on a boat or you're a seasoned competitor, there's a place for you this summer.

The Series Dates
The 2026 series takes in four regattas across three stunning venues, kicking off in Belfast Lough and finishing on the Foyle.
30 May — Belfast Lough Sailability Regatta Carrickfergus Sailing Club
18 July — John McCrea Fun Day Lough Erne Yacht Club
19 July — Lough Erne Sailability Regatta Lough Erne Yacht Club
8 August — Foyle Sailability Regatta Greencastle Marina
Try It First — Open Sessions
Not sure if sailing is for you? There's no better way to find out than getting out on the water before the regatta season begins.
Open Sailability sessions run every Wednesday evening at 6:30pm at Carrickfergus Sailing Club, giving you the chance to experience the freedom, confidence, and community that sailing can bring, with no commitment and no experience required.
