Formula Wing at the Gdynia World Sailing Championships Test Event

The event forms part of the build-up to future World Sailing Championships and provides a valuable opportunity for athletes to compete in an international championship environment within the rapidly developing Formula Wing discipline.

The RYA has secured one men's entry and one women's entry for the event. Athletes will be selected in accordance with the published Notice of Selection. 

Athletes wishing to be considered for selection must complete the Expression of Interest form by deadline of 12 June 2026. Only athletes who submit an Expression of Interest by the closing date will be included in the selection process.

Please note that this event is self-funded and selected athletes will be responsible for all costs associated with their participation, including travel, accommodation and other event-related expenses.

Athletes currently competing at a high level in Formula Wing, as well as those with ambitions to perform on the international stage, are encouraged to apply.
