Pathway Club Programme – application update
The response to applications for the Pathway Club programme has been fantastic and shows the energy across the country to help young people get involved in racing.
Due to high demand, we’ll be pausing applications for dinghy clubs in England at the end of April 2025. This pause will give us time to carefully review the many strong applications we’ve received and ensure we can provide meaningful support to each club involved.
We want to continue supporting all clubs, and the response so far has been incredibly encouraging — with high-quality applications coming in from all over the country. To ensure the programme has real impact, we’re working towards a balanced spread across both geography and class.
Please note: this pause will be from the end of April 2025 and applies only to dinghy clubs in England. Clubs in Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales (all classes), as well as English windsurfing clubs, should continue applying as normal through the RYA Portal.
We’re excited to keep working with all clubs and, once the initial review is complete, we intend to invite more clubs to apply in the summer.
