Another golden result for Northern Ireland’s next generation. Emily and Annabel Ridout shine at the RS Feva European Championships in Italy.

Gold for Emily and Annabel at the RS Feva European Championships

It’s been another incredible result for Northern Ireland’s young sailors, with Emily and Annabel Ridout from Ballyholme Yacht Club winning Gold at the RS Feva European Championships in Riva, Italy earlier this month.

The talented duo delivered a consistently strong performance across the week, showing impressive teamwork and composure in a competitive international fleet. Their victory builds on an already outstanding season, having also been crowned Irish National Champions earlier this year.

Reflecting on their success, Performance Manager Andrew Baker said:

“Emily and Annabel’s results show the depth of youth sailing talent we have in Northern Ireland. They’ve worked incredibly hard, and this achievement is a great reflection of the support from their club, coaches, and families.”

The result adds to a strong run of performances for Northern Ireland sailors on the international stage, with the NI Sailing Team continuing to make their mark across multiple classes.

Congratulations to Emily, Annabel, and the entire Ballyholme YC community on this fantastic achievement.
