The Final Series of the 2026 Musto iQFOiL World Championship will be streamed live and free across the UK through Eurovision Sport, the European Broadcasting Union’s digital sports platform.

The exclusive UK streaming agreement will bring the championship’s decisive racing to viewers on Saturday 12 September, when the world’s leading Olympic windsurfers compete for the men’s and women’s world titles on the waters of Weymouth and Portland.

Coverage will be available through Eurovision Sport and its expanding UK distribution network of Free Ad Supported Television (FAST) channels, including Amazon Live, Free Live Sports, Plex and Samsung TV Plus.

The partnership provides a significant platform for the championship and for iQFOiL, placing the sport in front of audiences across a range of connected televisions, streaming services and digital devices.

Eurovision Sport was launched by the EBU in 2024 to make international sport more accessible in an increasingly fragmented broadcasting landscape. Its free-to-watch service provides thousands of hours of live and on-demand coverage, with a particular focus on Olympic and emerging sports.

“The Final Series is designed to deliver fast, dramatic and easy-to-follow racing, with the world titles decided close to the shoreline off Weymouth Esplanade. Through Eurovision Sport and its distribution partners, more people than ever will be able to watch the action live and free, wherever they are in the country.

“We want this championship to showcase both the extraordinary athleticism of the competitors and the spectacle of Olympic windsurfing. Securing this level of coverage is an important part of helping the sport reach new audiences.”

The broadcast will capture the climax of six days of competition at the venue that staged the sailing events during the London 2012 Olympic Games. A total of 179 athletes from around the world are competing at the championship, the first major iQFOiL event to be staged in the UK and the first Olympic windsurfing world titles to be decided on British waters since 2009.

Great Britain enters the championship with both defending world champions. Two-time Olympic bronze medallist Emma Wilson and Andy Brown claimed a historic British double at the 2025 World Championship in Aarhus and will attempt to retain their titles on home waters.

Qualification racing on Thursday 10 and Friday 11 September will be streamed through the iQFOiL YouTube channel before the exclusive UK coverage of the Final Series moves to Eurovision Sport on Saturday.

Spectators can also watch the final day in person from the free Fan Zone outside Weymouth Pavilion. Open from 10am until 6pm, the Fan Zone will feature live race coverage on a big screen, athlete interviews, expert analysis, music, competitions, family activities and the championship medal ceremonies.
