If you’re visiting the Southampton International Boat Show (10-19 September), Britain’s biggest festival of boating, then pay a visit to the RYA stand (J120) which can be found in its new location in Ocean Hall.

“We’re delighted that the Southampton International Boat Show is back and the RYA will once again be offering all the latest advice and information to get you afloat” said RYA Shows and Promotions Manager Celia Edgington.

“Whether you’re looking for information on Powerboat Level 2, RYA Day Skipper or RYA Marine Radio courses, we can help you find the right course for you. We’ll also have experts on hand to share advice on cruising both at home and abroad plus everything you need to know about how to stay safe using RYA SafeTrx”.

It’s also the perfect place to pick up your RYA Publications with a show offer of 20% off for all RYA Members.  From the new 2021-2024 Racing Rules books, to course books and the new 2022 Reeds Nautical Alamanac, there’s something for everyone.

Olympic Sailing Superstars

If you’re heading to the show on the opening weekend, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for British Sailing Team Olympic athletes who’ll be busy around the show. More information on that coming soon…

Racing Services

If you’re looking for advice and information on MCA small commercial certificates and MCA tonnage, then drop by the stand on Tuesday 14 when RYA Technical Manager Adam Parry will be on the stand ready to answer your questions.

The Green Blue

Directly opposite the RYA you’ll find The Green Blue (TGB) (J117), the joint environmental programme from the RYA and British Marine. Chat to the team for advice and discover more sustainable boating products and services including bilge filters, eco-friendly cleaning products, ropes, electric outboard engine, sustainable clothing.

Visitors can also see a life size eco-mooring and take part in a ‘protecting our seagrass habitats’ educational activity as part of the Life ReMEDIES Project. Hear from TGB’s Campaign Manager Kate Fortnam on the Foredeck stage:

  • 10 September, 11am Exhibitor Sustainability Awards
