A genuine Barrus kill cord. Part number 823054. This must be used when using an outboard to ensure your safety should you fall into the water. This safety Lanyard cuts the engine immediately, should the operator fall overboard.
Fork style lanyard used with the engine mounted stop switch on the 2.5, 3.3, 4/5 HP (2-cycle), 4/5/6 (FourStroke) outboard engines.
