What is the RYA Junior Club Championships?

The RYA Junior Club Championships is a team-based competition that allows clubs to showcase their junior talent while encouraging participation, club pride and camaraderie.

• Inspiring junior sailors

Who is it for? 

This event is aimed at confident club-level junior sailors who are actively participating in their local racing scenes. Typically these sailors will have progressed beyond Learn to Race and be developing their confidence and experience by participating in club-run competitions.

The RYA Junior Club Championships is not intended for sailors who are regularly competing on the national class circuits. It is instead an ideal first ‘big’ event for junior sailors who are just starting to progress from club training and racing to taking part in local traveller series open meetings. 

The goal is to inspire young sailors by providing an exciting stepping stone in their journey towards a developing a lifelong passion for the sport.
