Save the date for 2026

We're pleased to confirm the RYA Youth National Championships 2026 will take place from 03-10 April 2026 at Hayling Island Sailing Club. 

The event will run in two blocks: 

• Block A: 03-06 April, Nacra iQFoil, 29er
• Block B: 07-10 April, ILCA classes, 420s 

The UK's premiere youth sailing regatta

The prestigious RYA Youth National Championships is the highlight of the youth racing calendar. The event offers a chance for the country’s most promising young racers to go head-to-head in a week of fun, competitive action.

Historically the Youth Nationals is contested in British Youth Sailing’s Recognised Classes, including the ILCA 6 and 7, 420, 29er, and Nacra 15. However, it now includes the foiling classes!

The results are used to select the British Youth Sailing Team, who will represent Great Britain at international regattas. This includes the Youth World Championships as well as the domestic youth squad for the year ahead.
