Discover RYA Sailability
Whatever your age, experience or needs it’s a level playing field on the water
Sailing is more than just learning to handle a boat. It’s a chance to develop new skills, meet new people, and discover a sense of freedom and confidence you might not expect.
From sailing small dinghies, to working as part of a team on larger yachts. Taking things slowly on a narrow boat or blasting across the water on a powerboat – there really is something for everyone within the RYA Sailability network. With the right support, sailing and spending time on the water can be shaped entirely around you, at your pace.
With more than 200 RYA Sailability venues across the UK, as well as a wider network of RYA sailing clubs and training centres, you can look for opportunities close to home or find a group that caters to your specific needs.

Getting started
Getting started can feel like the biggest hurdle. It’s natural to have questions, to wonder how it will work, and to want reassurance that your needs will be met - that’s where we come in. You bring your knowledge of what you need, and we bring our expertise in sailing. Together, we’ll find the right approach so you can step onboard with confidence and begin your journey on the water.

About RYA Sailability
For over 30 years RYA Sailability has offered opportunities for disabled people to get out on the water sailing or powerboating. Today, more than 2,000 sailors and boaters get out on the water each month through our network of over 200 Sailability clubs and training centres.
