See the world’s best racers from the Olympic circuit battle it out on the waters off Eastney Beach, Portsmouth, for the title of European champion.

The finals weekend (23-24 September) is completely FREE to attend for spectators. Come along and watch the world’s best riders battle it out just metres from the shore at Eastney Beach.
The Event Village will feature music, food and drink stalls, kids activities, opportunities to try watersports and a big screen to view all the action on the water.

The path to Paris
The event is the first international Formula Kite regatta to be hosted in the UK since the exciting new discipline was added to the Olympic roster for Paris 2024.
Taking place less than a year out from the Games, the European Championships are a vital regatta in the Paris 2024 cycle and will determine which nations and athletes get a spot at the Olympics.

As well showcasing world class racing in this high-octane new Olympic discipline, the RYA and its partners are focused on promoting environmental responsibility through the event, as well as inspiring local communities around the marine environment and water-based opportunities.
