Stage schedules

From performance skills and technical know-how, to wellbeing, racing rules and career pathways, our talks schedule offers something for every age, ability and discipline.

There are three stages, the Sunsail Main Stage, Knowledge Zone and the NEW NextGen Zone for young sailors and riders. All wiill be packed with content, with show hosts Lee Timothy, Rafferty Read, James Hardy and Mia Adcock on hand to guide you through.

British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters will also be covering a number of talks throughout the weekend. All talks are marked on the schedule with (BSL) or you can check in at the Para Sailing Hub (K6) to find out more.

We bring you an exclusive update from inside the Emirates GBR SailGP Team as they kick off their Championship title defence this season, and share what's in store when the Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix returns to Portsmouth this July. With special guests SailGP commentators Stevie Morrison and Hannah Diamond.

Join Sports Psychologist, Kirstie Urwin (Sun) and Performance Lifestyle Coach Tom Evans (Sat & Sun) as they unpack mindset techniques that build confidence, resilience, and strong on‑water decision‑making under pressure.
14.15 - 15.00 Boat to board - why mixing it up makes better sailors
Trying different disciplines builds transferable skills and makes you a faster, more adaptable sailor. Hear from the British Sailing Team's top ranked Formula Kite riders about their journey from boat to board.
15.00 - 15.45 Prepare, recover, perform (BSL)
In this interactive session, Holly Bassett, helps you learn how to activate, recover and look after your body to make the most of your time on the water.
15.45 - 16.30 Progress faster on the foil
An expert-led boardsports session with James Hardy, Rafferty Read and Sam Ross, focused on easy wins that translate across speed, jumps, waves, downwind and gybes.
16.30 - 17.15 Training with purpose
British Sailing Pathway Head Coach, Jonny McGovern, offers advice on how to review your performance, set goals and plan smarter training.
