Colne Yacht Club

Back to search results

Colne Yacht Club has a thriving cruiser race fleet, a Cadet dinghy section, and an RYA Sail and Powerboat Training Centre. Four Club Hunter Sonatas are used for Keelboat training, and the Club now has a Sonata race fleet of 18. Newcomers and existing members are supported by a Women on the Water, and a Blokes on Boats group. Cruisers take part in organised Cruising in Company events. CYC enjoys panoramic views over the tidal estuary of the River Colne. Local sailing is in relatively safe waters of two rivers, with easy access to the open sea.
